These Terms govern your use of the Magpie Raffle website (the “Site”) operated by Magpie Raffle Ltd(“Magpie Raffle”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or entering a competition you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

The Site is intended for residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over. You must be 18 or older to create an account or enter any competition. We may ask you to verify your age at any time and may void entries or close accounts where we cannot confirm eligibility.

2. Your account

• You may hold one account only. Duplicate accounts may be closed.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity on your account.
• You must provide accurate information, including a valid email address and date of birth.
• You may close your account at any time via the support email below; we will anonymise your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

3. Entering competitions

Entry into our competitions is governed by the Competition Rules. By entering, you confirm that you have read and accepted those rules and the specific terms presented on the competition page at the time of entry.

4. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could harm Magpie Raffle, other users, or third parties;
• Attempt to circumvent age, eligibility, or technical controls (including automated entry, scripting, or use of multiple identities);
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the Site, including any draw mechanism;
• Reproduce, copy, or exploit any part of the Site for commercial purposes without our written consent.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including the Magpie Raffle name, logo, and design — is owned by Magpie Raffle Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual property law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is” and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Magpie Raffle excludes all implied warranties.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Site is limited to the total amount you have paid to Magpie Raffle in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss of goodwill.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Magpie Raffle against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Site.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account, void entries, or withhold prizes where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, the Competition Rules, or applicable law. Where lawful, we will refund the value of any voided paid entries.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on the Site at the date you use it. Material changes will be notified by email or by a notice on the Site.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers resident elsewhere in the UK may bring proceedings in their local courts where required by law.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
